General Questions
Where are you located?
My studio is located upstairs in my home in Redmond, Oregon. I serve families from Bend and surrounding areas.
What types of photography do you offer?
I specialize in maternity, newborn, milestone, smash cake, and small family photography. My sessions are child-led, meaning I work at your little one's pace to capture authentic moments.
How far in advance should I book?
It’s always best to book early, especially for newborn and maternity sessions, as spots fill quickly. Newborn sessions are best scheduled during your second trimester, and maternity sessions are typically done between 28-34 weeks.
For milestone, smash cake, and family sessions, booking at least a month in advance ensures availability and time to plan your session details.
Newborn Photography
How old should my baby be for a newborn session?
I recommend scheduling your session when your baby is 5-21 days.
Do I need to bring anything to my newborn session?
I provide all wraps, props, and backdrops. My studio is fully stocked with everything we need, so you can just show up, relax, and let me handle the rest! The only things I suggest bringing are extra bottles, pacifiers, and an outfit to change them into after the session.
Maternity Photography
Do you provide maternity outfits?
Yes! I have a selection of maternity gowns and outfits available for you to use. I do ask that you bring nude-colored panties and a nude, black, or white bra to match the dress.
Can my partner and kids be included in my maternity session?
Absolutely! Maternity sessions can include your partner and older children to capture this special time as a family.
Milestone & Smash Cake Photography
What ages do you offer milestone sessions for?
Milestone sessions are available for babies and toddlers from 6 months to 5 years old. Whether it’s sitting up, a first birthday, or starting preschool, I love capturing these big moments!
What’s included in a smash cake session?
I offer two packages:
Original Package: Includes props, backdrops, and the session itself (parents provide the cake).
Full-Service Package: Includes everything in the original package plus the cake, a mini family session, a splash portion at the end, and all images.
Family Photography
Where do your family sessions take place?
Most family sessions take place outdoors at beautiful locations around Redmond, Bend, and surrounding areas. I’ll help you choose the perfect spot based on your vision! I do occasionally offer family sessions in the studio on request, those are typically best for newborn family sessions and small families.
What should we wear for a family session?
I recommend coordinating, but not matching outfits in neutral or earth tones. Flowy dresses, soft textures, and layers photograph beautifully! Once you book, I can send you a style guide with more tips.

How do I book a session?

Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! When you book a session with me all my sessions are under a payment plan - a little under half is due at booking - the final half is paid the day of the photoshoot.
The Session Experience
Before the Session:
Once you’ve booked, I’ll send over a questionnaire to get to know your vision, preferences, and any special details you’d like to include.
For newborn, milestone, and smash cake sessions, I’ll provide options for wraps, props, and backdrops, and we’ll work together to create a setup that matches your style.
If you're doing a family or maternity session, I’ll help with location selection and provide wardrobe guidance so you feel confident about what to wear.
I’ll check in a few days before the session with a reminder and any last-minute details!
During the Session:
When you arrive, I’ll take a few minutes to chat and let everyone settle in—especially little ones who may need a moment to warm up.
I’ll guide you through natural posing and prompts that encourage genuine moments, whether it’s snuggling your newborn, laughing with your toddler, or strolling hand-in-hand with your family.
For newborn and baby sessions, I take care of everything—including gentle posing, soothing, and making sure your baby is cozy and safe.
For family sessions, I’ll start with classic portraits and then move into fun, interactive moments where you can play, cuddle, and be yourselves.
If your child needs a break, no worries! My sessions are child-led, so I’ll adjust as needed to keep the experience enjoyable for everyone.
After the Session:
I’ll carefully select and edit your best images to create a final gallery that truly reflects your family’s personality.
Within 2-3 weeks, you’ll receive a link to your online gallery where you can download your images and relive your session all over again.
