We did my son's 1st birthday cake smash with Middle Moments. She was patient and understanding the whole time. She did a wonderful job at capturing my son's 1st birthday. The pictures turned out so wonderful!!

This 75 minute session includes a mini session family shoot (in-studio), a professionally styled set up based off of your vision of the set up, a custom cake provided by me, and to top it off we will end the session with a splash! I trade out the cake for a tiny tub to get those clean bubbly smiles before you leave.

First birthdays are a moment you never want to forget. The moment into new toddler beginnings. Lets celebrate that unique personality starting to come through so you never forget what that moment felt like, because just like those first newborn snuggles, no matter how much we don't want it to happen, the first birthday also eventually fades into a distant memory.

When should I book my smash cake session?
I recommend booking at least 2-5 weeks in advance to give us time to plan your setup, cake, and overall vision.
Can I request a specific theme or color palette?
Yes! After booking, I’ll send a questionnaire to learn about your style, preferences, and vision. We’ll build your setup around it.
What if my baby doesn’t like the cake or gets fussy?
That’s totally normal! Sessions are baby-led, so we go at your little one’s pace and capture sweet moments—cake mess or not.
What’s a splash session?
It’s a mini bath portion at the end of the session—perfect for clean-up and extra cute photos.
