Those early newborn days are a blur of feedings, snuggles, and sleepy stretches. You're probably running on coffee and love. I’ve created a relaxing, baby-led newborn photography experience that takes the pressure off you and makes sure you walk away with images that you’ll treasure forever.

My Approach

My in-home studio is located just 20 minutes from Bend Oregon. It is designed to be calm, warm, and welcoming.

  • Fully stocked studio: I provide all wraps, blankets, outfits, backdrops, and props.
  • Clean & safe: Everything is washed and sanitized between sessions.
  • Certified in newborn safety: Your baby is in safe, experienced hands.
  • Child-led approach: I follow baby’s cues and work around their needs, never rushing or forcing poses.

I had a lot of anxiety and caution to book a photographer, but I’m so glad we went with Kayla. She won’t push a baby just to get a photo, which I really appreciated.

Sweet Beginnings (In-Studio)

$750

Designed entirely for your newborn, capturing every tiny detail before these days slip by.


This session is focused 100% on your new baby. Those little features, tiny toes, and sweet expressions change so fast, and this is all about freezing those first moments in time. We’ll focus on wrapped poses across different setups, paired with simple, soft posing and close-up detail shots. You’ll walk away with a complete gallery dedicated entirely to your little one, with zero pressure to pick and choose your favorites.


  • 2–3 Hours of Unhurried Time: We work completely at your baby’s pace, leaving plenty of room to pause for snuggles, feedings, or changes whenever they need.

  • Baby-Only Portraits: Focused entirely on your newborn, featuring soft wrap styling, comfortable setups, and tiny detail shots.

  • Your Complete Gallery: 30+ beautifully hand-edited images

  • Payment Split: $375 retainer to lock in your date, with the remaining $375 due the day of your session.

Little Wonders (In-Studio)

$950

Perfect for families who want those sweet solo newborn shots, full family portraits, and the entire gallery included.


This session is all about capturing your newborn while celebrating the start of a whole new chapter for your family. We capture all those delicate solo baby details,  wrapped poses, and those unforgettable moments holding your newborn in your arms. Best of all, you get the entire gallery, so you never have to stress about choosing your favorite images.


  • 2–3Hours of Unhurried Time: We work entirely at your baby’s pace, leaving plenty of room to pause for snuggles, feedings, or changes whenever needed.


  • Newborn + Full Family Coverage: Includes styled, individual newborn setups alongside parent, sibling, and full family portraits.


  • Your Complete Gallery: 30+ beautifully hand-editedimages



  • Payment Split: $475 retainer to lock in your date, with the remaining $475 due the day of your session.

The In-Home Hybrid Session

The luxury of a cozy home session paired with the polished beauty of styled newborn portraits.

Bring the studio experience directly to your home. Forget packing up diaper bags, navigating traffic, or rushing out the door with a fresh baby.


This hybrid session gives you the best of both worlds. I bring professional lighting and 1–2 swaddled prop setups right into your home for those sweet, classic solo baby portraits focusing on delicate details, soft wrapping, and gentle posing. Then, we transition into relaxed, organic family portraits captured naturally in your favorite home spaces.


  • 2 hours of relaxed photography time so there’s always plenty of space for feeding, soothing, and snuggle breaks.


  • 1–2 Wrapped Baby Setups: Professional lighting and wrapped prop setups brought directly to your home.


  • Full Family Inclusion: Covers parent, sibling, and full family portraits alongside individual newborn poses.


  • Your Complete Gallery: 40+ beautifully hand-edited images



  • Payment Split: $600 retainer to book / $600 due the day of your session

There are no two babies made the same, and your newborn photoshoot should be the same. Lets capture your babies unique beginning in a way that feels like them and moves with them.

FAQ

What baby-led actually means (and what it doesn't)

t means your baby’s safety, comfort, and natural rhythm dictate the entire pace of our session. I strictly avoid rigid, forced, or high-risk poses because no trend is worth compromising your newborn’s safety.

But letting your baby set the pace doesn’t mean we just sit back and wait. It means I trade stiff posing rules for gentle, expert handling. I am actively guiding the session the entire time—soothing your little one, focusing on safe and comforting posing, and managing the studio light to capture those tiny details beautifully.

If your baby gets fussy and needs to stop to nurse, cuddle, or handle a blowout, we stop. We build plenty of time into the session so you never have to stress. My goal is to give you a peaceful, relaxed experience in the studio, while handling all the technical heavy lifting and post-production polish behind the lens to deliver a flawless, high-end gallery.

What if I don't want my newborns photos online?

I completely understand and respect the desire to keep your children's images offline. If you prefer that I don't use their photos for my website or social media, just let me know and I will absolutely honor that!

Please note that I normally deliver your final images via a secure, password-protected online gallery. If you prefer to bypass the internet entirely, I am happy to deliver your photos on a physical thumb drive for a small $50 fee to cover the cost of the drive.

Do you incorporate AI in your business and if so how?

I use AI strictly as a helpful assistant! On the business side, it helps me manage my website and workflows. On the editing side, it acts as the ultimate spot-remover. If a distraction sneaks into your shot, AI tools help me wipe it away cleanly.


I never use AI to generate fake backgrounds, alter your appearance, or replace real moments. Your gallery is entirely hand-edited, true to life, and uniquely yours!

What if I don't know what package to choose for my session?

Shoot me a message! I am always happy to help talk over your unique family dynamic and decide on the perfect package for your family. If we need to make minor tweaks to any package we can absolutely do that.
